  • Congratulations to our section champions - the varsity boys soccer team! Thanks for making us proud, Cougars!
  • School photo makeups will be held Thursday, October 17. If you missed the first photo day, please plan to have your photo taken. Your photo is necessary for your school ID.
  • A Transition and Employment Fair will be held at Baldwin HS November 14th from 6-8 pm. CLICK HERE for more information. If transportation is needed, see Mr. Pepe.
  • Call all teen ghost hunters! Have you ever wondered if the rumors about the haunted Carnegie Free Library are true? Now is your chance to find out! Ghost N'at Paranormal Adventures is giving teens the opportunity for a guided ghost hunt on the spookiest of  nights - Halloween! Find out what happens when the lights go out at the library. This event if for students in grades 9-12 only.Registration is required and can be completed by CLICKING HERE or calling 412-276-3456 x. 11.  Space is limited so register today!

Fundraisers
  • The band will host a spaghetti dinner Sunday, October 27 from noon to 6:00 pm at Rockerfeller's Grille in Kennedy Twp. Information about tickets will be posted soon.
  • The band will be selling delicious pierogies from Pierogies Plus beginning October 28 through November 8. See a band member to place an order!

GUIDANCE ANNOUNCEMENTS - Click on the link for weekly updates regarding visiting colleges, scholarship opportunities, and job postings.

A number of college representatives are visiting Carlynton to meet with interested juniors and seniors. Stop by the guidance office for a complete list and sign up to sit in on an informational meeting.

CLICK HERE to view the Parkway Bus Schedule for days when Carlynton is not in session (this schedule will remain the same for all days when Parkway has school but Carlynton does not).

The guidance office has a complete list of job opportunities.
Please check out bulletin board in senior hallway or stop in the office.
Students, ages 14 and older, can apply for a work permit in the guidance office. A work permit is needed when applying for a job.

Anyone interested in swimming on the Jr. High or High School Swim Teams. This Wednesday September 21st at 5 pm in the last day to order discounted warm-ups and T-shirts. The cost is $30 and will double after Wednesday. If you are not getting emails coach Mikes email is michael.schneiderlochner@comcast.net

 

He has order forms at the pool along with warm ups to try on.

The Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer Teams will be playing at Highmark Stadium THIS EVENING, September 27. Come out and support your teams!
The girls game begins at 6 pm, with the boys playing at 8 pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the stadium - $5, students; $10 adults
